Building System Pricing

The project price is dependent on the structural and insulation requirements of each particular project. The final price is also subject to any special engineering requirements that may be needed to execute the chosen design.

The quickest way to get a "ball park" estimate is to send us an e-mail with your drawings plus the breakdown on the square footage of the walls.

To figure the square footage of the walls:

• Outside Walls – multiply the length of perimeter walls X the height.

• Wall Thickness – Our panels range from 4 inches to 12 inches thick. If you live in an area of temperature extremes, a thicker wall may be indicated. Also, some design details like "bull noses", commonly used in the Southwest, require a thicker wall.
  

• Interior Walls – Measurements of length X height plus wall thickness. Plumbing walls should be framed and dry walled.

• Roof – total square footage of roof, (length X width) including overhangs, the pitch of the roof and the thickness of the panels needed.

• Floor – length X width

• Foundation – Stipulate how the foundation is to be built. Some possibilities are panels, block with crawl space, post and beam, etc.

The ThermaSAVE Building System saves money three ways:

1. Materials – Each project is "tailor made" for its purpose and location. The cost of the system depends on the panel thickness necessary to meet the insulation needs and the structural requirements particular to each project.

2. Labor Costs – Our work in the plant before the materials arrive at the work site makes it possible to erect the structure with less labor.
   

3. Energy Savings – less heat and air conditioning is needed in a ThermaSAVE structure.
