Environmental Considerations

The ThermaSave Building System is the most environmentally friendly of all contemporary building methods used today. Our panels are manufactured using only non-toxic products and they do not create toxic waste.

A minimal amount of wood products are used to produce the panels. Soon, we hope to eliminate wood entirely from our production process in order to help save our rapidly dwindling forests.

The high insulating properties of our panels greatly reduce (up to 50%) the amount of energy needed for heating and cooling our buildings. This results in a smaller impact on the environment as well as financial savings for the client over the years. Truly, ThermaSAVE is the building technology for the 21st Century!

Environmental and Safety Advantages

EPS, expanded polystyrene foam, used as our insulation barrier, is safe to handle and to live with. Fiberglass insulation, on the other hand, has a government required cancer warning label on each roll.

EPS does no harm to the ozone layer.

ThermaSAVE panel construction is earthquake proof.

Our structures are wind resistant, withstanding 110+ mph winds and are easily upgraded to 200 mph resistance, if needed.

Our structures are water resistant in that they do not absorb water or atmospheric moisture.

Our panels are fire resistant with a flashpoint between 600 and 650 degrees F. which is higher than Douglas Fir , a commonly used building material, at 500 degrees F. flashpoint.

Our panels are mold, mildew and vermin resistant.

Our panels are sound retardant making ThermaSAVE an ideal building system for apartment buildings and office buildings.
